Welcome to Gilded Poppy Makery- it's good to see you again.
It's NEARLY HERE! The incomparable Kieu Pham Grey from the USA is coming over in September to hold the FIRST EVER METAL IMMERSION CONFERENCE IN AUSTRALIA! This is a rare opportunity to take classes with one of the most prominent Metalsmiths in the USA, and I'm beyond excited to have her here. We have some amazing classes planned- First for our locals and on the following weekend, mixed classes for Kieus' visiting students and the Gilded Poppy Makery family combined. Details are now up on the Classes Page, and feel free to drop me an email if you have any questions. It's right around the corner, and seats are limited, so grab your places early! Don't forget to pop over to WeTeachMe.com.au for the current in- house classes, and keep your eyes peeled for new classes being added. (You'll find the link on the Classes Page.) Join me here and you'll learn metalsmithing arts along with wire weaving, cord and fibre techniques, metal clay, etching, enamelling, as well as bone, wood and freeform gemstone carving. This is the place where mistakes are celebrated for the learning opportunities they really are, and you can relax amongst your fellow creatives, allowing your imagination to be fired by the project you're working on. Come and dive into our exciting new classes here with me at Gilded Poppy Makery- I can't wait to meet you. |
